Are you in this group of 6% of Australians

Cells in the body can be likened to a car. To run a car there is a need for good clean fuel to feed the engine and an effective exhaust system to eliminate the buy products of combustion. Each cell in the body needs good nutrition to feed the cell and good elimination of cellular waste products to run well. Most of our nutrients are sourced from the fruits and vegetables we eat, yet only 6% of Australians eat the recommended 5 servings of vegetables and 2 servings of fruit each day.

English researchers studying the eating habits of 65,226 people between 2001 and 2013 found that the more fruit and vegetables they ate, the less likely they were to die at any age.

The study found that fresh vegetables had the strongest protective effect, with each daily portion reducing overall risk of death by 16%.

I recommend that you need to eat at least 2 servings of vegetables by the time you have eaten your lunch if you are to consume the minimum of 5 vegetable servings a day. Of course, the daily consumption of freshly juiced vegetable juices ensures you achieve 5 vegetable servings each day.
